Hello, lovelies!

After the seriousness of my unplanned post yesterday, I needed to write something lighthearted and fun. If you don’t love Elf, I don’t think we can be friends. Seriously. It’s my favorite Christmas movie of all time, and it’s in my somewhere on my list of my 10 favorite movies. Whenever it’s on tv, I have to watch it. I quote Buddy the Elf constantly. I’m actually wearing Buddy pajama pants right now.
The Sweater
As soon as Modcloth released a Buddy the Elf sweater, I knew I had to have it. I actually say “son of a nutcracker” on a fairly regular basis. If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that this sweater was part of my Black Friday haul. I just couldn’t resist it! When it arrived, I was not disappointed. If I could, I’d live in it. It’s literally the comfiest sweater I’ve ever worn. Apparently, I was super lucky, because it’s been like 8 days since I ordered it, and it’s no longer available.
The Accessories
Because I was just at home today, I just wore my cozy slippers. When I wore it to work a few days ago, I wore my combat boots and a green bow.
The Face and Hair
I wanted to hide my laziness, so I smeared on some red lipstick and filled in my brows. My glasses (kinda) covered the dark circles under my eyes. I actually did put some effort into curling my hair.
The Look
Here’s the final look for today! I finally got my tripod, so goodbye, mirror selfies! I usually wear the pajama pants for lounging at home, but I threw on the leggings when I went to pick up my brother from school. As you can see, I didn’t get this sweater, because I wanted a figure-flattering outfit. It’s very much about comfort and Buddy the Elf. I definitely think he makes up for the unflattering shape.
Do you rock ugly (adorable) Christmas sweaters? What’s your favorite Christmas movie? Let me know in the comments! xo
Yes! I love “Elf”! I love this sweater too! I also LOVE ugly x-mas sweaters. John and I both bought some from the thrift store so we could take a xmas card photo, it was a horrible hour! We are going to have to try again.. I really want a xmas card of him, Marshy, and me to send out.
I’d love to see that card!
It’s a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street ❤️
All great movies!! <3
And Bad Santa – of course!❤️❤️
I’ve…..never seen Elf *ducks*
WHAT!?!?!?! As a temporary resident of the States, I’m pretty sure it’s against the law for you to not see Elf. I suggest you see it immediately. You can find it just about every day on various channels throughout the month of December. Your kids will probably love it, too.
