Hello, lovelies!

I’m a huge bookworm. You may not know this, but before I found my job, I was actually looking into a Master’s degree in Library Sciences. Yes, I wanted to be a librarian. To be honest, I’m actually considering doing it just for funsies. So, yes, I’m a giant bookworm. My inner bookworm and cat lady couldn’t resist this skirt.ย
The Outfit
Like so many other pieces in my closet, as soon as I saw this skirt, I knew I had to have it. If I remember correctly, I’ve actually been drooling over this one for over a year. I finally bit the bullet and bought it with my Buddy sweater in my Black Friday order. It’s the same cut as my Walker skirt, and the fit is absolutely perfect! I paired it with a plain black tee, opaque tights, and my favorite black cardigan.
The Accessories
I absolutely couldn’t resist this Belle brooch from Femme de Bloom. If you haven’t checked out her Etsy shop, you totally should! Follow her on Instagram, too, for awesome coupon and freebie codes.
I couldn’t wear a cat skirt without my literal kitten heelsย from T.U.K.
The Face and Hair
Thanks to Cyber Monday, I finally got my hands on an Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit. This was the first time that I used it, and I absolutely love it! ColourPop’s Sculpting Stix are faster to use, but the kit blends much easier. I used ColourPop’s Lippie Stix Matte X in Le Freak on my lips. I also straightened my hair for the first time in a loooooooong time.
The Look
Here’s the final look! I feel ready to go to the library. Unsurprisingly, my brother’s cat really loves this skirt. My dog hated it.
Are you a bookworm, too? What are some of your favorite books? Let me know in the comments! xo
I love this skirt and the shoes! I used to want to be a librarian or at least work in the library. I still wouldn’t mind, and I have applied for positions with no luck. For some reason the librarians are older women and they are always so unfriendly. At least the one that lives down the road from me seems to be.
Thanks, dear! Before I found my current job, I actually applied for a library assistant job at my local library. Unfortunately, well actually fortunately, I didn’t get it, because they required previous library experience. I don’t know how they can require previous experience for an entry-level job. Oh well! I’m definitely not mad, because I ended up with a job that I absolutely LOVE! It’s funny that your librarians are so unfriendly. All of the ones I’ve met have been so nice!
