Hello, lovelies!
I’ve been in a baking mood lately. My brother is an allergy kid, and I didn’t want him to miss out on all the goodies, so I made him some gooey, chocolatey, dairy-free brownies.
The Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cups cocoa powder
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla bean sugar (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup canola oil
- 2 tbsp extra canola oil, if you like the gooey
- 1 cup water
- dairy-free chocolate chips, if you have them. Mine were expired. π
The Recipe
Preheat your oven to 350Β°F. Grease your pan of choice. I like to use Pam Happy Baking. Mix all of the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add the wet ingredients and mix until the batter is pretty much smooth.
Pour into your greased pan and bake for 25-ish minutes. If you added the extra oil, it will take longer to bake. Check them every 5 minutes until they no longer jiggle like jello when you shake the pan. It can take up to like 45 minutes. Let cool, serve, and eat the shit out of them.
The Dairy-Free Brownies
These are super rich. Even my brother, who has a ridiculous sweet tooth, has trouble eating more than 1 at a time. He says they’re amazing with chocolate soy milk.

Oh my, looks delicious! Totally saving this to my to-do recipes!
Thank you! You can’t even tell that they’re dairy- and egg-free.
