Do you love The Walking Dead? Who doesn't want to be a zombie for Halloween? Check out my new bloody walker Halloween look at Cassie Wears What!Do you love The Walking Dead? Who doesn't want to be a zombie for Halloween? Check out my new bloody walker Halloween look at Cassie Wears What!Hello, lovelies!

I’m writing this while I’m waiting for the season premiere of The Walking Dead. Did any of you watch? I’M SO FUCKING EXCITED! If you read my post last week, Super Awesome Halloween Costume Ideas Pt. 2, you saw how I turned my brother into a walker. This year, it was my turn.

Products

  • old, cheap contouring palette from Amazon
  • ColourPop Super Shock Shadow – Tink
  • ColourPop Super Shock Shadow – Leopard
  • OCC Lip Tar – Black Dahlia
  • OCC Lip Tar – NSFW
  • liquid latex
  • modeling wax

The Steps

  1. Smear yellow all over your face, so you look sick.
  2. Contour with the 2 darkest browns in the kit. You’re going for an emaciated, dead look.
  3. Dab some purple around your eyes. I used Leopard.
  4. Use a beauty blender to pat the same 2 browns on top of the purple and blend.
  5. Use liquid latex and/or modeling wax to create wounds and rotting skin. This takes several layers of liquid latex, and it takes a lot of time to dry. Don’t do this, if you’re in a hurry. I did a bullet entry wound on 1 cheek and an exit wound on the other. One was wax and liquid latex, and the other was just the latex. Personally, I had an easier time with just the latex.
  6. After the latex dries, use the contour kit to make it match the rest of your skin as closely as possible. I didn’t want to use my expensive foundation, so my wounds didn’t match perfectly. If you’re wearing this look to a dark party or club, that’s totally fine. No one will be able to tell.
  7. Dust some gray all over your face, so you look dead. If you want to look super dead and rotten, use more grays and maybe purples, blues, and greens.
  8. Apply fake blood or appropriately colored liquid lipstick wherever you need it. I used Black Dahlia for my walker wounds and a mixture of Black Dahlia and NSFW on my mouth, so I would look like I just had a yummy, bloody treat.
  9. If you want to go full-out, put some oil and “dirt” in your hair. I didn’t do this, because I just washed my hair last night.

What did you think of last night’s episode? Did I pull off this walker look? Do you love or hate (or love to hate) Negan? Let me know in the comments!

Update: So I’m watching Talking Dead right now. Listening to the cast talk about the episode is breaking my heart even more. I can’t deal. I’m so glad that I don’t have work in the morning.

  • Wow, Cassie, that looks so cool / scary / freaking awesome! I bet it’s fun to dress up like this! Nice job 😉

    • Thank you, dear! I had way too much fun with this one!
