Hello, lovelies!
Last week, I received my most recent ColourPop order. This post is in no way sponsored by anyone, as much as I wish it was. I bought all of these products at full price with my own money. I just really love ColourPop. They recently released new shades for their Sculpting Stix, so I thought it would be fun to review them. I snatched these up right as they were released, because I loved the two shades from their Jaime King collab. They’re perfect for contouring and highlighting.
I did these looks on 2 different days, because I hate wasting makeup. I started with my normal makeup routine, as outlined in Makeup Monday: Bold Fuchsia Lips. On the right, I used Gummy Bear and Yikes. On the left, I used Illuminati and Dume. I continued with my normal makeup routine, and I blended them all out with a damp Beauty Blender.
I used the same eyeshadows and lipstick, so the only differences would be the contouring, and I set everything with my Make Up For Ever High Definition Powder and a kabuki brush. I didn’t use and blush, bronzer, or powder highlighter, because I didn’t want to interfere with the Sculpting Stix; however, I actually liked how it looked without the extra bronzer and highlight. This may be my new routine, when I’m running late. However, I don’t think I’ll skip blush.
Overall, I loved all 4 shades. Both highlighters are perfect for any time, and Yikes is a great daytime contour for my skin. While I loved Dume, too, I’ll probably save it for when I go out at night. Sculpting Stix are great substitutes for some eyeshadows, too! I highly recommend keeping a couple shades in your makeup bag, because they’re so versatile.
Have you tried the new Sculpting Stix? If you have, what did you think about them? Do you have any contouring tricks? Let me know in the comments! xo
I’m dying to try the new contour sticks!!

You totally should. They’re life changing! And you really can’t beat the price.
I order the contour sticks the day I got the email and I STILL haven’t gotten a shipping confirmation even, anyone else have this issue?
I’ve never had that issue with them before. Have you tried contacting them?
I just did because I was thinking about it. Right away got an email back with a tracking number with an updated saying the shipping label was printed! I love Colour Pop lol
Yay!! They really are amazing.
OOooooo! I haven’t tried these yet. I’m not the best at contouring, but these look really natural and beautiful on your skin.
Thanks! These are perfect for everyone from first timers to contour pros. They’re super easy to use.
I am obsessed with colour pop! I will have to try these!
Aren’t they amazing? These sculpting stix have become a staple in my makeup bag.
I didn’t know the brand Colourpop yet. So didn’t try the Sculpting Stix. Though it sounds very nice in your review! I definitely want to try these. I love how it looks. Right now I mainly use BB cream/ higlighter powder/ under eye lightener.
ColourPop has some great highlighter powders, too!
I only just recently tried colourpop – I’m thinking of placing another order soon, though! Just trying to pick a lip product – there are so many!!! I’m very fair so I’m not sure about the sculpting sticks, although the highlighting ones might work on me! Cool post – loved being able to compare the colors!
All of their lip products are amazing, but my current favorite lip line is Ultra Satin Lips. They stay on longer than the Lippie Stix, but they aren’t dry like their Ultra Matte Lips.
That’s so good to know; thank you! I’m a lip product junkie 😉 Oops! hahaha
You’re very welcome! I also recommend using a matching lip liner or a universal lip liner. It keeps the product on longer and stops it from bleeding, which happens sometimes with Ultra Satin Lips. I’m a total lip product junkie, too. The struggle is real!
I LOVE Colourpop! Those colors look great on you! xo
Thank you!
Sculpting is voodoo!
LOL My goal is to be Marie Laveau.
What’s the wear like? How creamy or easy to blend, how long it lasts, if it moves around your face/transfers, etc.
I’m really looking at either getting 1 of the NYX double ended Wonder Sticks or 2 of these ColourPop Sculpting Stix, and as of yet I just don’t know which would be a better product.
It lasts all day, and it’s really easy to blend with a beauty blender. I use translucent powder on top of my makeup every faux and I haven’t had any issues with it moving around or transferring. I don’t use NYX anymore, so unfortunately I can’t compare them for you. I hope this helps!
Yes, thank you!
You’re welcome! I’m glad I could help 🙂
