As you know, I’m obsessed with unicorns. Last Christmas, my awesome boss gave me a set of adorable unicorn makeup brushes, and I just had to get more! When I saw a set of rose gold and black unicorn brushes from Unicorn Cosmetics, I knew I had to have them. (Use code CASSIEWEARSWHAT for 15% off the Unicorn Cosmetics website!) If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already seen these brushes, but they’re just so amazing that I needed to write a review for them.
Let me start this off by saying that I hate paying for shipping. Like, I reallyย hate paying for shipping. Especially international shipping. Because Unicorn Cosmetics makes such amazing lashes, I usually suck it up and pay for shipping. However, because I had trip to London coming up, I was able to get free shipping to my aunt’s London house, and I had a nice present waiting for me when I arrived.
The Box
Unicorn Cosmetics ships their brush sets in absolutely incredible boxes. Seriously, the artwork on the box was so incredible that I found a way to stuff it into my ridiculously full suitcase. It now sits on my vanity, full of fake eyelashes.
(Yes, I got some lashes, too!)
The Case
Ok, so the case isn’t great if you need to save space while packing, but I’mย obsessed with it! The brushes come in a black velvet, diamond-shaped case, featuring the Unicorn Cosmetics logo embroidered in rose gold thread. Even the zipper pulls are rose gold unicorns! Just when I thought the case couldn’t be any more perfect, I opened it up and saw that the unicorn logo is also printed inside! Super cute!
The Unicorn Brushes
This set is perfect for makeup pros and newbies alike! It comes with 10 brushes, as well as a handy list of their names and how to use them. The bristles are white with burgundy tips, and they’re super soft. Like, crazy soft. They come with rose gold or black and rose gold handles. I had to get the black and rose gold ones, because they match my soul.
And, yes, they are cruelty-free!
Final Thoughts
These are my new favorite brushes! I really fucking love them. The only thing that’s missing is an eyebrow brush. If I’m traveling with limited bag space, I’ll probably leave these at home, but otherwise they’re my go-to brush set!

Hi great article. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. Is there a particular type of makeup brush set that you exclusively use? What about a brand? Is there one that you like best? I’m preparing for a wedding and I don’t have a lot of experience with makeup. Thanks!
