Hello, lovelies!
You’ve already seen looks inspired by Kim Chi and Adore Delano. This month’s Makeup Monday Drag Edition is inspired by Manila Luzon. She stole my heart during season 3 of Drag Race, and she’s still one of my all-time favorites. She uploaded a makeup tutorial several years ago, which I loosely followed. Here comes Mama!
The Process
My progress pictures sucked balls, so I’m just going to sprinkle my final pictures through the post. I started with my every day primer, and added 2 layers of my regular foundation. Next, I drew on my contour. I first watched this tutorial several years ago, and my daily contour is actually inspired by Manila.
Next were the eyes. I did the brown eye contour, like she did, but I toned most of the eye makeup. I went to the movies after I took the pictures, and I didn’t want to look like a crazy person. Instead of heavy black, I went with a combination of brown and brownish black.
I don’t have boy lips, so I didn’t overdraw my lips as much as Manila does. I started with a pinkish-nude lip. To achieve Manila’s “dog booty lip,” I applied a highlight to the center of my lips.
I normally draw on my eyebrows right after I do my foundation, but I followed Manila’s lead and waited until my face was almost finished. I don’t think I’ll do that again, because it was much harder to clean up the edges. As much as I wanted to, I just couldn’t rock a drag queen eyebrow to the movies.
Finally, I applied my lashes. Watch out for wonky lashes! They can completely ruin your look, no matter how fierce the rest of your makeup is.

I’m glad you liked it! <3
Your eyeliner wing is so perfect *u*
Thank you! I’ve found that using a good felt-tip eyeliner marker is the easiest way to get a wing that’s sharp enough to cut someone.
Love your lashes! Beautiful
Thank you!
