Hello, lovelies!
As you know, I cancelled my Sephora Play and Ipsy subscriptions, because I’m making the switch to 100% cruelty-free beauty. While researching cruelty-free boxes, I came across Petit Vour. For $15 per month, you get 4, sometimes full-sized, non-toxic, cruelty-free, ethically made, and vegan products, so I decided to give it a shot. I paid full price, and they are not compensating me in any way for this review.
True Moringa Lavender Face Oil
First, I have to say that I generally hate lavender. Like seriously hate lavender. I hate it so much that I hate to make the word “hate” both bold and italicized, so I was not looking forward to trying this product. Anyway, I applied a few drops to my face right after a shower. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the smell was very mild. In fact, I couldn’t smell it at all after about half an hour. My face tends to get dry, so I usually use a lot of First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, but I didn’t need any after using this oil. I would definitely buy this product.

BOX Naturals Luxe Towelletes
My box actually gave me 2 of these towelettes: rosewater and lavender. Before bed one night, I wiped my face with the rosewater one. It smelled amazing! I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, the lavender one was not as mild as the face oil. The scent was way too strong for me. I don’t love wipes for everyday use, but I would definitely buy the rosewater ones for traveling.

Formulary 55 Body Polish – Sea Minerals w/Grapefruit and Rosemary
I love a good body scrub, so I was super excited to receive this. It’s packaged dry, so you have to add water to it. The directions also recommend using either coconut or olive oil instead of water, so I’ll definitely try that next time. As soon as I opened the package, I noticed the smell. It was delightfully delicate and grapefruity! I stepped out of the shower with smooth, soft skin. I will definitely buy this body polish.

Lily Lolo Sculpt and Glow Contour Duo
As you know, I love contouring. I usually stick with my ColourPop Sculpting Stix. My face seriously needed a break from makeup, so I didn’t actually try this on my face. Here’s a picture of the swatch:
I’m not in love with the contouring shade. I feel like it just looks like dirt on my skin; however, I do think it would look better on another skin tone. The highlight shade is definitely more subtle than my usual glow, but I may use it for a “no makeup” makeup look

The Box
Before I even opened the package, I thought the pink box was adorable. When I opened it, I hated to see the packing material. That shit gets everywhere. The products I received were all great. Out of all of the boxes I’ve received from various subscriptions, I think this is my favorite, and that’s not just because it’s cruelty-free. I will definitely continue this subscription.
Do you love subscription boxes? Are you already into cruelty-free beauty, or are you thinking about making the switch? What’s your favorite cruelty-free product? Let me know in the comments! xo
Neat! I am going to check it out! Thanks for your honest review! ❤️❤️❤️
You’re very welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
All the products’ packaging looks so nice and refined, specially those towelettes! It’s beautiful packaging. And this seems like a good subscription, with how cheap it is compared to many others and it being cruelty-free. So, from the products you got, was only the contour duo full-sized? The rest looks like samples, but some full-sized products are small sometimes too.
The body polish was actually full-sized. They sell it for $7 per packet.
This is so great to hear!!! Congrats on the switch!
Thanks, Suzi! It’s a lot of work at first, but it’s totally worth it!
Perfect box, I love the contour- its light but perfect
I know, right? I’m pretty much in love with this box.
