Hello, lovelies!
When you hear the words “Halloween” and “drag,” what, or who, comes to mind? If you didn’t say “Sharon Needles,” there’s something wrong with you. I absolutely adore Sharon Needles. Who wasn’t #TeamSharon, when PhiPhi O’Hara was being a total bitch in season 4 of Drag Race? Her creepy, ghoulish aesthetic is a Halloween-lover’s dream come true. Here’s my take on my favorite look of hers from season 4.
The Face
I started with my usual Anastasia Beverly Hills stick foundation and pro pencil. I wanted my face to look as smooth and plastic-y as possible.
The Eyes
First, I covered my eyelids with ColourPop’s sculpting stix in Illuminati. Next, I applied their eyeshadow in Tink to my crease and hella blended. Then I applied a thin line of their eyeshadow in roulette to my crease and blended. I used a felt tip eyeliner to draw on crazy wings that (hopefully) make me look like I got an eye lift. I lined my bottom lash line with their creme gel liner in Swerve and smudged one some Tink and Roulette.
Contour
I didn’t contour as much as I usually do, because a good portion of my face was covered by the “gauze.” I used ColourPop’s sculpting stix in Yikes on my cheeks and temples.
Lips
To achieve that “just injected” look, I super over-lined my lips with ColourPop’s lippie pencilย in Bull Chic, and I filled them in with their lippie stix in Bichette.
Lashes
These lashes are Hush by Sugarpill. I love the little touch of lace across the top of them.
The Look
My gauze decided to hide from me, so I improvised with toilet paper. Don’t worry! It wasn’t from the roll in my bathroom. It was from a new package in my cupboard. Also, that syringe is totally from a teeth whitening kit.
Do you love Sharon Needles as much as I do? Who’s your favorite Halloween queen? Let me know in the comments! xo
