If you’ve been following my style journey, you know that my personal style is a bit . . . unique. While I may not be everybody’s cup of tea, quite a few people ask me where I get my clothes. I have a few go-to brands like Vixen by Micheline Pitt and La Femme en Noir, but I actually make most of my clothes myself. Introducing: Casstastrophe.
I had an Etsy shop for a few years called Cassie Creates What. Instead of focusing on what I love to make, I tried to make things I thought people would want to buy. My heart wasn’t really in it, and potential customers could sense that. Something needed to change.
When I worked for the boutique, I quickly learned how difficult it is to keep pieces in stock. Things either sold out immediately and were unavailable to reorder, or they didn’t sell at all. To make things easier on myself and more special for my customers, everything is made to order. Because everything is made to order, pieces can be customized and are made to measure.
Every piece that I offer is something I have in my closet. I keep some fun and funky prints in stock, and I can source other fabrics upon request. Casstastrophe is a mix of nostalgia, humor, and unconventional style.
Creating is my passion, and I love taking on fun projects. I absolutely LOVE requests and commissions. If you have something specific in mind, we can work together to make your fashion dreams come true!
